Israel Seeking New Investors for Offshore Gas Exploration

Israel is seeking new investors to explore for natural gas fields in the offshore areas, as the country’s Energy Minister, Yuval Steinitz, is touring talks in London with energy giants, hoping to interest companies to explore in its 24 blocks, which account for 40% of the nation’s economic waters.
Subsea 7 Awarded Offshore Gas Infrastructure Contract in Egypt

Danish engineering company, Subsea 7, was awarded a major contract to help BP develop three gas fields, including laying export lines, off the coast of Egypt - Giza, Fayoum, and Raven subsea fields offshore Alexandria.
